Install and Run Android Apps on PC via Bluestacks

What is Android?

Android is a Operating System which almost every Mobile user is aware of. It was primarily designed for touchscreen Mobile Phones and touchscreen Tablets. Android is one of the most popular Platform.

Android Apps on PC( Windows & MAC )

Apps can run on Windows as well as MAC OS.

Not only games can be installed and run, any app which can be used on Android's Mobile phone or Tablet can be installed and run on PC. These apps may be Wechat, WhatsApp, Facebook, Alexa Rank Widget, WebRank SEO etc.

By October 2012, more than 25 billion total apps were downloaded by the Android users.

Due to more and more development of Android, One is NOT limited to Install and Run Android apps on Smartphone and Tablets. Instead one can also install and run Android apps on PC.

By installing Android apps on PC, one can play games on PC like Temple Run, Subway Surfers, Fruit Ninja etc.

Installing and Running Android Apps on PC:

1.Download BlueStacks.

2. Install BlueStacks. It's a very easy process. Installing will take some time so have some patience.

3. Run BlueStacks from Start menu or Desktop Icon.

4. Click on Search button.

5. Write the name of the application to be installed and then choose and then press Enter.

6. Click on Install and login with your google account if it asks.

7. Under Android Sign(Red Circle in image below), Choose any App.

8. Click Download.

9. Accept terms and conditions.

10. It will get installed and then click on Open.

The app will RUN. Enjoy all the Android apps on your PC.

NOTE : To again Run that app, Run Bluestack and the apps installed already will be shown to you there like this Google Search. Twitter, Facebook etc. Just Click and Run.

Ever Wondered why emails containing links for making quick money or emails giving you products at a very low price comes to your email account without taking any subscription? Or from where they get your email address? And why they send you these?

This Article is answer for all these Questions and also for its Prevention.

What is Email Spam?

Email spam is commonly referred to as junk email, that involves unimportant and annoying messages sent to a mass amount of email addresses.

Computers that are infected with viruses, often called Botnets, are typically used to distribute about 80 percent of email spam.

Why Spamming is used?

Email spam messages are unsolicited and often advertise products and websites or try to lure recipients to disclose personal information.
Sending email spam costs the recipient and not the sender, many advertisers use it to advertise their goods and services.
Many spammers obtain a mass amount of email addresses and sell them to other spammers, so this continues and its a business in internet world.

Why to Stop Spamming?

To Avoid Discloser of the Personal Information: Accidentally opening a spam e-mail with unwanted viruses,Spyware and Trojans attached to it can cause your computer a lot of problems. You can end up with a crashed system, identity theft problem, lost data and much more. You think that your computer has just slow down, but it could also mean that your personal data is being collected without your knowledge and sent to a third party, either to sell, trade or use it to commit crime.

What Content Spam Emails generally Contains?

Pyramid schemes (including Multilevel Marketing)
Other "Get Rich Quick" or "Make Money Fast" schemes.
Offers of phone sex lines and ads for pornographic web sites.
Cheap health products and remedies.
Offers Illegal pirated softwares.

How to Prevent Spam Emails?

Maintain two email addresses:

A Personal Email Address: That you give to family, friends and business associates.
A Safe Email Address: One you use whenever you’re ordering something online, signing up for an email newsletter, or creating a profile on a website.

Using a Safe email address on websites will make your Personal information very Safe.If unfortunately a spammer were to get a hold on this address, all the spam will go into Safe Address which is not for Personal Purposes therefore not affecting your Personal Info.

Don't write your Email Address in Comments in any website:

If you will leave your email address in comment area then spammers can easily get them using Softwares. Instead you can follow a method to write it there so that no software detects it.

If your email address is abc@xyz.com then write it as abc [at the rate] xyz dot com. This will not let any spammer software to know about your email address as it is only a text for a tool.

Avoid opening spam Emails:

If you do spot what looks like a spam email in your inbox, avoid opening it. Spammers are very clever. They attracts you by sending a mail which contain content that you’ve won a cash prize or exotic holiday or email containing help to someone suffering from some disease.

But however tempting or worrying these emails appear to be, you can guarantee they’ll also be complete rubbish. So don’t open them.

If you do open a spam email by mistake, don’t click on any links in the email.

Don’t be tempted to reply:

Never reply to a spam email – even if this is just to say you don’t want to receive these emails anymore. Most spam accounts are left unread and replying can increase security risks further.

Similarly, don’t threaten the sender. In some cases, emails will be read and spammers still have rights – so if you’ve sent a threatening email, you could face legal action.

Avoid unsubscribing options in that Email:

If you do open up a spam email, you may find an unsubscribe link. But while it might seem logical to click on this link and unsubscribe, you may find that all it does is confirm your address is active and as a result, you’ll receive even more spam. So avoid using unsubscribe options.

Use a spam filter:

If you use Microsoft Outlook or something like this, Then the first thing to do is to use a spam filter such as Mailwasher. This will help to cut down on the number of spam emails you receive as it will detect unsolicited and unwanted emails and prevent them from getting into your inbox.

Unfortunately, however, as I've already said, it won’t stop them completely.

Never Give personal Info in Spam Emails:

Phishing is mainly done in Spam Emails. So never give your personal info in these Emails. To know how to avoid Phishing, Read my Article, How to Prevent Phishing Attacks

Run Full Screen Turbo C++ in Windows 7

There are many people who are having problem in running C++ in windows 7 and many other having problem to run it in Full Screen Mode. Now i am here with a very simple solution for you all.

This problem occurs due to the compatibility issue. To avoid this we will use DosBox0.74.

NOTE:Follow my steps as they are written to avoid any error.

Running C++ in Window 7:

1>> Download DosBox0.74 and install it into C drive. In my PC it is installed into C:\Program Files (x86)\DOSBox-0.74

2>> Now Copy/Install your TC Folder(Name must be TC here) in C:\

3>> Now Open DOSBox 0.74 Options file which is in DosBox-0.74 Folder(C:\Program Files (x86)\DOSBox-0.74 in my PC).

4>> This Notepad will open. Now Search for [autoexec] in notepad(Start searching from the end of notepad).

5>>Now Paste the code below [autoexec] given here.

mount c c:\
c:
cd c++
cd tc
cd bin
tc.exe

like this

5>> Now Save and Close it.

6>> Now Run DosBox0.74 and C++ will Run automatically in small screen(Don't be sad, I am here).

Full Screen Mode in Window 7:

7>>Now again Open DOSBox 0.74 Options file which we opened in step 3.

Change fullscreen=false to fullscreen=true

Change fulldouble=false to fulldouble=true

AND

Keep fullresolution=original

8>>Now Save it and Now Run DosBox0.74.

This time i am sharing an amazing Application with you. You can use Multiple Desktop in your Windows like the Desktops many Touch Screen Cell Phones are having.

This is done with a Application named WindowsPage r . This App is very safe and easy to use. Also it is very Fast. This will provide you four Virtual Desktops. You can easily switch between four of them.

Every virtual Desktop will Run Different Processes. If you used to deal with too many windows then this feature is very much useful to you.

Also no need to install this Application, Just double click on it and it will run. This feature makes it portable, i.e. you can put it in your USB drive and can take along with you to run it on other PC's.

You can also move any running process to another Desktop by Right-Clicking on title bar of that window and selecting Move to Desktop 2(your Choice which one to Choose out of Desktop 1,2,3 or 4).

How to Send Profile Pics in Facebook Chat

Now days Facebook is coming with new features for its users. Before some days, it enables Timeline feature for all of its users and now it enables to send profile pics in Facebook chat.

Someone's Profile Pic in Chat may act as smiley and also give user large variety of smilies as Cartoon smilies are limited in number.

You can use smiley of any user, i.e. its not necessary that the user must be your friend or not. For this you just need User ID(NOT EMAIL ID) or Username of the person whose Profile pic you wanna use.

How to Send Profile Pic in Facebook Chat:

Visit the Profile of the user or the group whose image you want to send.

Copy the Username or User ID from the address bar.

Now in the Chat Box type the Username or User ID in the following Format

[[Username]] OR [[User ID]]

How to Make Your Wallpaper Permanent Without Any Software

Are you annoyed(like me) of seeing your wallpaper changed everytime when some other user uses your PC??Then after reading this article you can fix your wallpaper permanently so that no one could mess up with your wallpaper :)

To make wallpaper Permanent:

Go to Start in Taskbar and then Go to Run in windows XP and Vista or Search Run in windows 7.

Type gpedit.msc and hit Enter.

Open User Configuration->Administrative Templates->Desktop->Active Desktop Wallpaper(if not present then Desktop Wallpaper)

Select Enabled and Specify the path of the image which you wanna set wallpaper as permanent. Eg. F:\Hacker.png. Here F is the drive in which wallpaper was present in my PC and Hacker.png is its name in my PC.

You can also choose the wallpaper to be Centered,Tiled or Stretched according to your Requirements.

Click on Apply and then on OK.

Restart your PC and then no one will be able to change your Wallpaper except you

How to Browse Internet Privately on your PC?

Private browsing is very much popular also in very demand now days. Once you go into private browsing mode, no one using that PC can know what you had browsed on internet(until and unless any SPYWARE is installed on it).

On using Private Browsing:

Your history?-> Deleted.
Your cookies?-> Destroyed.

Your bookmarks and non-private history? Preserved for when you come back to the surface. If you don't wanna know anyone that which sites you had visited than this option is far better than deleting the history with all other content.

Tip:This method is very useful for the ONLINE for BANKING USERS.

NOTE:Private Browsing does not make you anonymous on the Internet. Your ISP or the sites you visit can still track the pages you visit but their is no record on your browser and PC.

What does Private Browsing not save?

Visited pages: No pages will be added to the list of sites in the History menu, the Library window's History list, or the Awesome Bar address list.
Form and Search Bar entries: Nothing you enter into text boxes on web pages or the Search bar will be saved for Form autocomplete.
Passwords: No new passwords will be saved.
Download List entries: No files you download will remain in the list in the Downloads window after you turn off Private Browsing.
Cookies: Cookies are files created by websites that store information on your computer, such as your preferences when visiting a certain site. These will not be stored. For more information on cookies, see Cookies.
Web cache files: No temporary Internet files or cached files from web pages will be saved until you turn off Private Browsing.

What does Private Browsing save?

1) If you create new Bookmarks while using Private Browsing, they will not be removed when you stop Private Browsing.

2) If you save files to your computer while using Private Browsing, those files will not be deleted when you stop Private Browsing. However, any files you open in an external application will be cleared from the system's temporary folder, and none of the files you download will appear in the Downloads window list.

Private Browsing in Major Browsers:

Incognito mode (private browsing)

In Chrome for a private browsing Mode, A Window named Incongnito Window is used. In this Window you just browse normally like any other browsers and when you will close the window,History, Cookies, Passwords and all the contents except Bookmarks and Downloaded files are automatically deleted.

How to open an incognito window?

Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
Select New incognito window.

A new window will open with the icon in the corner. You can continue browsing as normal in the other window.

Feature: If you Want to Open a link in Incognito window while when you were browsing in normal window, Just right click on the link and select "Open in a Incognito window" and it will open.(see the Snapshot below)

You can also use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+Shift+N (Windows, Linux, and Chrome OS) to open an incognito window.

Browsing in incognito mode only keeps Google Chrome from storing information about the websites you've visited. The websites you visit may still have records of your visit. Any files saved to your computer will still remain on your computer.

For example, if you sign into your Google Account on http://www.google.com while in incognito mode, your subsequent web searches are recorded in your Google Web History. In this case, to prevent your searches from being stored in your Google Account, you'll need to pause your Google Web History tracking.

How do I turn on Private Browsing?

To start a Private Browsing session:

At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox menu (Tools menu in Windows XP), and select Start Private Browsing.
When you turn on Private Browsing, Firefox will alert you that it will save your current windows and tabs for after you finish using Private Browsing. Click on Start Private Browsing to continue.
- Put a check mark next to "Do not show this message again" if you do not want to receive this alert the next time you turn on Private Browsing.
You will then enter Private Browsing mode, and the Private Browsing information screen will appear.

When browsing in Private Browsing mode, the Firefox menu will be purple (for Windows XP the window title will say (Private Browsing) instead) during your session.

How do I turn off Private Browsing?

To end a Private Browsing session:

At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox menu (Tools menu in Windows XP), and select Stop Private Browsing.
The windows and tabs you were using when you enabled Private Browsing will appear, and you can use Firefox normally. The Firefox menu will turn orange again (for Windows XP the Firefox window title will no longer say(Private Browsing)) when Private Browsing is off.

Open IE’s Private Browsing Mode the Easy Way

Internet Explorer’s "private browsing” mode is an excellent way to hide what you’re looking at from prying eyes, but it’s normally hidden under a menu but we can make it easier to access.

The Normal Way

To open an InPrivate Browsing window, you can either use the Ctrl+Shift+P shortcut key, or just use the Safety InPrivate Browsing item on the menu.

And you’ll immediately see a private browsing window, which will leave no traces of your browsing history. Useful!

The other thing that private browsing is useful for is checking your email on somebody else’s computer–no danger of cookies lying around letting them back into your email account once you’ve gone.

Windows 7 Makes it Really Simple

If you are using Windows 7, all you have to do is right-click on the icon in the taskbar and choose the InPrivate option. You can also click and hold the left mouse button on the icon, and slide your mouse up… the menu will pop up and you can choose it there.

Now you can run your favorite software in any PC without installing them into that. Yeah its true. For this you need to Install a tool named PortableApps in your USB drive and carry them along with you wherever you want. You can easily run these into that PC.

By doing this a lot of time of installation of software is saved.

Also you can impress others by using your own software into their PC's.

One good thing about this is that these Apps will have much smaller size when installed using PortableApps as compared when they are installed in PC's.

To install Portable Apps:

1>> Download PortableApps from here.

2>> Plug in your USB and Install PortableApps into USB.

3>> Now Run it. It will open like shown below

4>> To Install your favorite Apps into it click on Apps and then on Get More Apps

5>> Now from the list choose the Apps you wanna install into your USB and click Next.

Now these Apps will be downloaded and it will itself get installed.

Installed Apps will be shown on the left side as this Notepad is shown below

Now you can show everyone that you are not in need of their Software in their's PC too

Convert Laptop into Wi-Fi Hotspot Free

Everyone in Home generally has one internet connection and more than one Wi-Fi devices. Now you no need to worry about using one Internet connection for many Wi-Fi Devices. If you have Free Internet on your mobile phone and wanna use it on other devices then read my article, How to Convert Mobile Phone into Wi-Fi Hotspot.

If you have Internet Connection on your Laptop and wanna use this connection on other Wi-Fi enabled devices too then this post is perfect for you. For this you need:

One Wi-Fi Enabled PC with Internet Connection.

Wi-Fi Enabled Device(s).

Now You Just Need to Download Connectify. This Software will make your work easy. One can also make his PC a Wi-Fi hotspot in Windows 7 manually but manual work is a hectic process.

Connectify has Free and Premium Version. For homes free version is sufficient. Also Password is needed to Connect to Wi-Fi Hotspot it which makes it Secure.

Convert Laptop into Wi-Fi Hotspot:

1>> Download and Install Connectify(Installation is simple).

2>> Run Connectify and it will stay in Stray Icons(in Taskbar).

3>>Switch ON Wi-Fi of your PC.

4>> For a Secure Connection(Password Protected) Choose Ad-Hoc, WEP in Security Mode in Connectify.

Set Info as Follows:

Hotspot Name-> Connectify-me

Password-> Password of 5 OR 10 OR 26 Characters using 0-9 and a-f(or A-F)

Internet-> Broadband Connection(in my case). Choose yours out of given Options.

5>>Click Start Hotspot.

Congrats,Now your PC is a Wi-Fi Hotspot. Only the Person Who knows this Password will be able to use this Connection(So Enjoy Security).

You can also check that who has connected to this connection by clicking on Clients bar.

This post Specially for the people who have any of the above three Question.

Ya friends this is not a joke. You can play Snake Game while Video is Buffering or while playing the video. YouTube has given this cool feature in its new YouTube Player. Its very easy to play snake game in it. You can see it below(i haven't edited it in Photoshop :P)

It is having one Snake and a Dot as Snake's Food. It is also having walls i.e. Youtube's Player Wall as if Snake collides with it, game is over.

To play Snake Game:

1>> Start any YouTube Video.

2>> While its Buffering(Or Video is Playing) :

Click on Video and then

Press LEFT Arrow Key and QUICKLY Press Upper Arrow Key.

3>> A Snake will appear in Video and then Start playing with Arrow Keys and feed it the dots(Snake's Food).

Also when you are Out then you can again start it By Pressing Left Key and Then Quickly the Upper Key WITHOUT Refreshing your Window.
